Adverts are gone with a push of the skip button.
After seeing the 780 in action at my place my girlfriends have all rushed out and bought them too.

It took a little while to get the hang of all the features but now that I have I'm really impressed at what this can do for the price. Very happy with it and would recommend to anyone wanting affordable PVR

The UP780 is the coolest gadget I have ever bought!

Quality product! The vacuum fluorescent display is super cool, it like scrolls the channel name etc.
The PVR function is perfect! It was a little hard to figure out how to FF and RW really fast, I found the info on the 880 review:
Just press the red bookmark key then you use the arrows by the OK key for ultra speedie fast forward and rewind.
Everything is just so well thought out with this unit, the remote works my Sony TV and Sony DVD player too!
